Ah, I misunderstood their rules and didn’t emphasize the voting enough. Turns out that they picked 10 films or so with the most votes, and the votes on these films were in the thousands….while Waking Up had 263 (which I though was high…). Well, well, maybe this wasn’t a film contest after all, but a voting contest. ‘Let’s see who can get most friends to click the voting button most times!’.
